Connersville, you stepped up x 3! Thank you so much to our Community Thrift STAFF, VOLUNTEERS from our community and surrounding towns as well, along with Community Christian School STUDENTS/staff and the CHS Cheerleaders. YOU made this happen! OH, I don’t want to forget the Faulk Family for the use and delivery of your trailer🙌 and Amanda for her coordination of clothing placement.
Still feeling the need to volunteer? There are so many opportunities and organizations that need your help! It took a disaster to call you to action. Don’t let the voice inside you go silent! Be assured, YOU are still needed‼️

Friends and neighbors,

You have outdone yourselves with generosity by giving your clothing, bedding and toy donations‼️ Volunteers are arriving today at 10:00 to sort, fold and stack what we already have received. Those will be placed on flatbed trailers and leave Community Thrift to be distributed in the neighborhoods where they are most needed. What a blessing this will be to those in need. Clean clothes will certainly feel wonderful!
It may take the Community Thrift staff a few days to restore our rooms for shopping after moving things around to make room for all of the bags and boxes that arrived. The plan is to reopen for regular business on Wednesday. Check back and we will keep you posted.

We sincerely thank you for helping with this flood relief mission and we thank you in advance for coming back to shop and support the programs of Community Christian School by shopping at Community Thrift- Bargains+Blessings as we reopen.

When you ask, people immediately answer the call!!!
We now have flatbed trailers to create mobile stores to take clothing into the neighborhoods.

So who has popup tents they can loan us to work under tomorrow while we sort? Go
