The Brimstone Building is owned and operated by the John family. Rose, born in Haiti, moved to New York at the tender age of 10. Manny (born in Puerto Rico) grew up in Trinidad until the age of 15, when his family also moved to New York. They met in 1998 and have been together ever since. Manny and Rose share four beautiful, spirited, driven children. Isaiah, 19, attends school to be an airplane pilot! Josiah, 18, is studying business in New York (look out Mark Zuckerberg 😉). Deanna, 17 & a Jr in high school, is multitalented. She is active in the theater arts with great potential for a future career in it. Deanna is an honor student and will attend college after graduation. Xavier, the youngest at 14, loves basketball and is a skilled member of the middle school’s team. He has a heart of gold. They all do. Let’s celebrate this beautiful black family and their incredible accomplishments through many struggles and much adversity! The John family is an example of what can be accomplished with fearless determination. Thank you for your service to our community.
