CONNEAUT AREA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ANNOUNCES RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY JUNE 4
Nautical Nook Opens in the Conneaut Harbor
Conneaut, Ohio –With a building already in place and a desire to stay busy during the summer months—it didn’t take much coaxing from JoAnn Colin’s sister, Debi Rosati to convince her to open a gift shop in the Conneaut Harbor.
Nautical Nook’s soft opening last week has already resulted in a flurry of activity from local visitors and out of town folks. Rosati says, “Other than a few fliers, we really haven’t done much advertising. We’ve been pleasantly surprised by the number of visitors we have had so far.”
According to Colin, “Debi’s experience owning and operating Christmas World in Ashtabula has been invaluable. She knows the ins and outs of operating a small, local business and, she already has quality vendors in place.
Nautical Nook is located at 198 Park Avenue (next to Subway) and will officially be open from Memorial Day through Labor Day. “If you are looking for something fun and unusual, come on down and see us,” says Colin. We specialize in all kinds of collectibles, such as beads and jewelry, candles, garden flags, dips, nightlights, and of course, nautical themed items.” Store hours are Monday through Saturday from 10am to 6pm and Sunday from noon to 5pm.
The Nautical Nook will celebrate their grand opening with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, June 4, 2012 at 1pm in front of the business. Light refreshments will be provided and the community is invited to share in the celebration.
The Conneaut Area Chamber of Commerce exists to promote economic, civic, and social improvement while highlighting all that makes the City of Conneaut and surrounding areas a great place to live, work, and play.
