I am finally getting caught up and it’s time for me to get the thank you’s out!
First, I would like to thank all of the businesses and individuals that donated to the Concordia fireworks display. Without your support, this event would not continue to grow! With next year being our countries 250th birthday, we are already planning the display to be One of the largest and best Fireworks show that Concordia has seen. But we will continue to need the support from donations. It’s never too early to start growing the fund for next year!
Thank you to the Pyro crew that spent a long, hot day setting up. We had six new individuals that helped this year and plan on coming back next year to lend a helping hand. This is all volunteer work and the only thing they get is free food, and drink and front row seats to the show! To put on this type of show, there are a lot of hours involved before, during, and after. It couldn’t be done without all their help.
Thank you to the crew that worked Dano’s Fireworks stand. I have a great bunch of helpers and I look forward to them all coming back next year. They all worked hard, and this year, played hard! 🙂 I think that the videos were a hit and I can’t wait to see what is in store for next year!! Thank you to all of our customers. Without you, we wouldn’t continue to grow, which in turn, helps us support with the fireworks display.
And lastly, thank you, Ashlee! For all the hours on the phone, programming the show with songs and fireworks, and flying back a few times to help me out. I couldn’t have done it without you! Every year you continue to learn more about running Dano’s and the passion for programming the Concordia fireworks display makes me proud. I know every year you are going to push yourself to create a fantastic show for Concordia. You are a large part of the 100 + man hours that goes in to put on this 27 minute event. I can’t wait for next year‘s show because I know it will have people talking about it!! Until then,
BOOM BABY!!
