I experienced what it’s like to be brown in today’s America. While I won’t go in to too much detail right now, I want to take the time to remind my sisters & brothers, especially those who are non-white, that it is more important to have your head on the swivel & aware of what’s going on around you. People are more emboldened to show hatred for brown people & women and can come at you anytime & anywhere without fear of accountability. Do not assume that you will be treated fairly by law enforcement. They too can have hate in their hearts & can be part of the good ole boy network. Always be ready take out your phone & record, even if it’s to document something that may not look right to you that is happening to someone else. I thank God that my daughter & I are okay, but things could have turned out differently. If you are someone who supports this hateful administration who has emboldened these racist crazy people please remove yourself from my following & kindly remove me from your following. I don’t have time or space for anyone that votes for & continues to support this hatred. I don’t care who you are. This is not about political differences. This is about basic human decency, and you can’t have that & support Trump and his administration.
