Everyone has their own preferences when it comes to growing methods, nutrient lines, and growing mediums. Rockwool is one of the popular mediums out there. Some swear by it and others feel very strongly against it.
Though, there are plenty of other factors that go into determining a successful crop the best thing to do is really try things for yourself. Your specific situation could yield different results.
