I’ve been getting to know my new Action Finder. First, their customer service is excellent, and I can’t thank them enough for their help!

Now that I’m comfortable with it, I thought I’d share results from setups on 3 guitars brought in by the same customer. He liked the setup on one of his Strats, so I made the other Strat EXACTLY the same.

The Danmron Labs website has a conversion feature based on multiple factors that replicate the feel of the setup, so those numbers are very slightly different. AND I’ve saved this customer’s specs in my account in their website so I can replicate this setup exactly on any of his guitars.

I’m always looking for ways to improve, and now I have the ability to deliver even more precise and repeatable results for you. 🤘🏼🔥

All the back braces were loose on this vintage dreadnaught, and the back was separated from the sides in a few spots. Someone had tried to epoxy the braces back on a long time ago, and it didn’t hold. What a mess!

The simplest approach was to remove the back, then the braces came off very easily. I scraped the remaining epoxy and glue from the back and braces, scuff sanded and then reglued with hot hide glue. I’ll be able to reglue the back tomorrow.

This is the first release of tracks I’ve been working on from the archives of (fictitious) guitarist and producer, Ray Connu. It’s one of his later pieces after he started experimenting with loos and samples, and shows a whimsical side of his personality.

Thanks to Xochitl Maria for notes during mixing!
