One of my favorite things to create! And it’s my best seller for good reason. They are gorgeous! Beauty and functionality combined perfectly for a one-of-a-kind home decor piece. 🌼

I use real fruit and foliage, and I dehydrate them myself. So, as a part of the process, my house gets to smell like a lovely mix of orange and lemons. 🍋 🍊

Homemade Vanilla Extract ✨

These make great family gifts for the holidays! All you need is

✨-Amber Glass bottles (I used 8oz)
✨-Sticker Labels
✨-Madagascar Vanilla Beans
✨-Good quality Vodka (I used Grey Goose)

Instructions;
-Clean and dry bottles
-Use a funnel to pour vodka into the bottles
-Cut Vanilla beans in half
-Splice open each half by taking a knife and dragging it along the middle of the bean, without splitting it in two. (You should be able to see the vanilla insides on your knife.)
-Put the halves into the bottles, each 8oz bottle should have a total of 6 (whole) vanilla beans in them.
-Close the lid, shake
-Wipe down the outer bottle with alcohol (to remove any sticky residue from the beans), dry, and add your labels.
-Keep in a dark place and come back to shake up the bottles about once a week.
-In 2 months you’ll have a very lovely homemade vanilla extract that you can refill with vodka as needed. And you’ll have learned a new skill! 🥰
