This Appalachian style basket is a large size, considered a one bushel size. I love the white oak, hand-split egg basket style, this one would be much too large to carry eggs in it.I have owned this for years and left the tag on it, even I have never met the maker, I keep his tag on it, his name is Howard Blair, to honor his beautiful work.
