Hi Doll Friends!!!
I know I have been silent for a while!
After selling lots of dolls… my doll collections took a turn. I guess my taste changed. I do feel like I may begin to thin out some dolls again. I just have not decided exactly how I want to go about it or what dolls I want to part with. I have done BUY IT NOW, and I have done LIVE AUCTIONS. I have not tried SILENT AUCTIONS or WAFFLES.

This morning, half of our country, woke up disgusted, angry, and disappointed. The other half, woke up joyful, jubilant, and excited.
Me? I don’t feel any of those moods.
I am still seeing the hatred, opinion bashing, and name calling. It makes me sad for our country to be so divided.
Here is what I am going to do.

I am going to pray for Donald Trump and our country.
If Harris had won, I would do the same for her.
I pray that God will hold our leader in his hands and protect him from harm.
I pray that God will grant him wisdom, to take our country forward and make the right decisions for the benefit of all.
I pray that God will touch his heart and fill it with love, empathy, sympathy, and a desire to make our country better and stronger.
I pray that God will grant him health and strength, to take on the next four years, despite his haters, oppositions, and doubters.
I pray that he will be given a fair chance to show what he can and will do for America.
I pray that he will learn, that being Commander and Chief is more about what our country needs than it is about his ego.
I pray he will stop to listen to his staff and the people of our country.
I pray he will think before he speaks.
I pray he will have the heart of a servant, the strength of a warrior, and the mind of a leader.
May God lead him.
May God bless him.
May our country prosper.

Hi Doll Fans!
As we approach Christmas, I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU! To everyone who follows this page and for all of the wonderful people, who bought so many dolls from me over the summer.
Life sometimes throws us a curve ball and we have to adjust our priorities.
Over the last few months, my husband has battled colon cancer. It has been draining for us both. The chemo and radiation treatments really took a toll on him. But he is feeling better now. He isn’t out of the woods yet, but we are hopeful that his scope, next week, will give us good news.
With that being said…I want to let everyone know that I am hoping to try to have a few LIVE AUCTIONS beginning in February to clear out more of my massive collection. So please share this page with those who like Live Auctions.
Thank you all again! And I want to wish everyone a VERY MERRY CHRISTMAS and a WONDERFUL NEW YEAR!!

Hi Doll Fans,

I am taking another break.
Any items still listed can, of course, still be purchased.

We will meet with the oncologists at the Amos Cancer Center this coming week. We don’t know yet, exactly what my husband is in for, as he embarks on this journey. But I ask that you keep him in your prayers. His name is Dana. He has stage 2 colon cancer and will be having chemo and radiation treatments.

I am hoping once we know what our schedule will look like in the coming weeks, I can begin preparing to do a LIVE auction.
Any advice and tips on how to do that will be greatly appreciated. I don’t even know what all will be required to set that up.

1. I take payment through PayPal, Facebook Meta, and Venmo.

2. I charge actual shipping cost through Pirate Ship, based on box measurements and weight, and insurance, if extra is needed

3. I ship on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday

4. I do combine multiple items to save on shipping

I try really hard, to give true and honest descriptions, and show photos of any flaws, that I know of. I want my buyers to know, exactly what they are getting.
Most of my dolls are not mint, and are in used, or played with, condition.

A little about me… and why I am downsizing my collection of dolls.
I have been collecting for close to 40 years. After our kids grew up and moved out I started filling the house with dolls. Unfortunately, I developed a love of large child sized dolls that take up a lot of room. But my love of dolls found me rescuing other dolls from, yard sales, thrift stores and eBay. I bought a lot of dolls that needed TLC. I fixed up a lot of dolls but many have been left neglected.

Over the last few years, I have suffered several health crisis. And I have come to the realization that I am no longer able to give the time and efforts, needed, to maintain my collection. And I have not been enjoying them as I did when I was younger. I also noticed that my “likes” and “interest” have changed and I don’t have room for the new ones that I want.🤦🏼‍♀️I began to feel overwhelmed by the size of my collection.

While recouping from a cervical spinal injury, over the past 7 months, I decided that I desperately needed to move dolls out and reduce my collection down, to a size that I can display and enjoy again.

Selling them, really isn’t so much about making money, as it is, about re-homing them and hoping they will bring joy to someone else. That is why I list most as OBO. It is my hope that other collectors, will find dolls they want, and get them from me, at a good price.

I hope everyone will visit Dolly’s Attic often, in search of a treasure. Seeing my dolls go out to new homes, is very therapeutic for me. Although listing, packing, and shipping is a lot of work, it has given me a new purpose and keeps me busy.
