Today, we honor a celebration of freedom, resilience, and progress.

On June 19, 1865, more than two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was signed, enslaved African Americans in Texas finally learned they were free. Juneteenth stands as a powerful reminder of the ongoing journey toward equality and justice.

As part of our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion, we join communities across the nation in recognizing this important day and celebrating the strength, culture, and contributions of African Americans throughout history.

🎉 HYPE Day 10 Highlights! 🎉

We kicked off the day with two incredible guest speakers who introduced our students to careers in HVAC and roofing. Students learned about the skills, responsibilities, and opportunities within each industry and even got to participate in hands-on activities that brought the trades to life!

A big thank you to Kerby from Semper Fi Heating and Air and Kyle Campbell from Right Hand Roofing for spending the morning investing in our students and sharing your knowledge and experience. Our students were especially excited to take home gifts from our guest speakers!

We also enjoyed a delicious lunch from Subway before wrapping up the day with an exciting field trip to 2A USA.

Another great day of learning, exploring career pathways, and preparing for future success!
