This week we shipped over 350 pounds of socks to a client—a milestone I don’t take for granted.

Before any order leaves the door, I personally inspect every pair. It’s a practice I’ve kept since founding Franklin Morrow, both as a final quality check and as a meaningful way to involve my kids in the business. So if you happen to receive more than expected, I’ll gladly credit my young assistants for their enthusiasm.

This particular inspection ran six hours and I wrapped up around 3am. My kids were generous enough to let me sleep in until 5am—so I’m calling that a win!

I’m grateful for clients who trust us with orders this size, for the hands that help me along the way, and for the privilege of building something I genuinely love. -Alex

Franklin Morrow is searching for our next charity partner to create free socks for. 🧦

Our offer is simple: we provide custom-branded socks at no cost to the organization. Charities can use them however they want. In the past they have used them to thank donors, recognize volunteers and staff, and create a tangible piece of merchandise that supports fundraising and mission visibility.

Why socks? Unlike most branded merchandise, socks get worn repeatedly, turning every pair into an ongoing reminder of the cause and the people behind it.

One of the first steps in the sock making process is working with our team to make sure the sock we are designing matches their vision of what they want. After this step we move onto a physical sample for them to review and approve. Once they see the physical sample they can make edits, start from scratch, or approve it and move onto then next step.
