Nice 3 day weekend, pulling out a new gaiwan to use while drinking the strongest tea on the website right now. Was not on my agenda to drink the 2009 Banzhang Huangshan again so soon, but someone asked me what the most tea drunk tea I have is.
Very subjective of course, but I think it is fair to say this is it.
Got to clean the silver cup of its tarnish which was super cool and get a buzz going that realizes any remaining stress I may have as the birds chips with the windows down.
3 day weekends are the best. During covid they were mandatory along with 80% pay, but... I am almost would be willing to make that trade for the rest of my life to be honest. There is just more life to experience, memories to be made, and you dont feel rushed.
It is possible the world will go that way one day, fingers crossed I see some of that shift.
Either way, this tea hits hard and I am happy.
Shenron on the lid is nice and the inside of the gaiwan has a dragon radar inside. This is possibly a problem though as I may want a gaiwan for every show... the nerd in me is happy 😆

Nine cakes of the 2025 are available for purchase now. The 2026 will go up on the website May 31st. Keep an eye out for the newsletter which will go out at 12pm est. There is a lot this time.
The red jade white tea is easily one of my favorites because of how unique and bold of a flavor bomb it is. Sunmoon Lake leaf doesnt play around and the best part is that its easy to store, ages well, and has extreme versatility.
This year is less strawberry and more raspberry, but I think that's either being fresh with a bit more punchiness upfront or maybe it does have a darker berry note going forward. Either way, if you are a tea nerd or just like white teas this is a must buy. I commision this every year because I beleive in how wonderful it is and never want to go without it myself thus you all cannot go without it either!

Miss putting time aside for days like this. It resets me on multiple ways from physical and emotional.
Nothing beats a good tea gathering and it doesnt take more than two people. Good tea. Good company. Good food.

Change of plans for my last post during the weekend flash sale on 2006 teas.
Another Shua Ya cake just sold which is the Yang QIng Hao cake that has those snow buds/ yabao pressed into it.
The result in the blend comes out to be a very corn whiskey likeness for me. Others have remarked that it's almost like having sharp middle aged sheng with white tea notes mixed in.
Either way, it's a unique one to have and with it being down to the last three cakes as I write this I wanted to pull the last two time I took pictures of this cake because it's always been a very interesting one to look at.
Come Monday, I will take one of the remaining cakes and create more samples for you all to purchase so you too can try this unique blend.
If you're someone who can't help but collect all the crazy puerh stuff, $288 tonight only for 500g is not just a crazy deal but it gives you plenty of opportunity to trade 50g chunks with friends online in the future when this is all but a story on the internet because it's long gone.

2006 Baopin from Yang Qing Hao to power my terrible LoL addiction this morning...
Bought the tongs and freshly cracked the bamboo on them seeing the careful storage. What a wonderful experience to try these teas in the natrual progress of their production. Storage remains more interesting and important than material. Just take how interesting Xiaguan tuos become with crazy storage, they rival some of the most prestigious area when it comes to flavor and experience just because of the transformation through storage.
Anyways. I will post one more time today in hopes to capture just a little more on the flash sale this weekend.
