Did you know you have the cutest little farmstand stocked with premium, locally grown flowers right here? We’ve got everything you need for your Easter weekend deluxe bouquets, vase arrangements, and fresh bunches of foliage, ranunculus, freesia, stock, anemones, poppies, and tulips. Also for our gardening friends, we have home grown Dahlia tubers ready to take home! All grown with care, right here on the farm.

The start of something special 🌿
This week marks the first round of grocery store bouquets heading out from the farm! While not every grocery store is on the route just yet, you’ll begin seeing Sunny Meadows bouquets popping up at Weilands, Whittens, Hills Market, Columbus-area Whole Foods, and Heinens.
It’s always exciting to see our flowers make their way into your everyday spaces, but this week also comes with a bittersweet moment.
We’re saying goodbye (for now) to Craig. For the past 6 years, he’s been the steady hands delivering our flowers far and wide, helping connect our farm to so many of you. If you happen to see him on his route today, be sure to give him a little extra love 💛
Thank you, Craig, for your dedication, care, and the countless miles you’ve driven for Sunny Meadows. We’re so grateful and excited to carry on the route with our new delivery team.

Tulip season is in full swing over here and with the first buckets of field tulips joining our greenhouse harvest, we thought it was the perfect time to talk about their transformation.
Tulips are one of the most dramatic flowers when it comes to change after harvest. We pick them early when the color is just starting to show but the heads are still tight, closed, and compact. At this stage, they may look small and understated, but that’s exactly what sets them up for a long vase life.
Once out of the cooler and placed in water, they begin to stretch, open, and fully reveal their color. Petals expand, stems continue to grow, and each variety takes on its full personality.

Spring holidays are always a bit of a toss up around here on how many blooms will happen. But this year, things are looking just right. Our Easter and Mother’s Day crops are coming along beautifully, and the greenhouses are right on track. There’s nothing better than seeing all that winter work start to pay off in blooms. 💐

A warm weekend brought us a few gifts in the greenhouse this week. 🌿
Poppies and Butterfly Ranunculus are back! Their delicate petals and soft movement make them just as dreamy as ever. Spring is waking up around here, and we’re not mad about it. 😍

SMFF’s littlest farmer turned 3 this weekend! 🌿 Levon kicked things off the best way he knows how, surrounded by family and all of his favorite zoo animals. It was a day full of celebrating our wild, sweet, animal-loving boy. Happy Birthday, Levon! We hope this year is full of cool trucks and fun dance parties. We love watching you grow. 🥳🦁
