Nick and I have been doing a thing lately. Converting this early 90s Peavey 412M cab to a 212 with a shelf for my 6505mh. Today was tape and paint day. Tribute to Eddie Van Halen and his Bumblebee Strat. Plenty of work left to do, but had to show off the stripes!

My 2015 USA Strat is all setup in Eb standard with GHS 9-42 strings, Wilkinson VS-100 trem, and Fender locking tuners.

Next upgrade in the near future will be a brass nut. Thinking about trying some different pickups from the Custom Shop Fat 60s that are currently in the guitar.

Late night hardware upgrade on my 2015 American Fender Strat. Fender locking tuners and a Wilkinson/Gotoh bridge.

More modifications performed on the Spattered Rhoads. Installed new Floyd Rose R3 locking nut the cool way by bolting in on through the back of the headstock. There's one more mod left to be completed before the guitar gets fully assembled with an Original Floyd Rose with a fat block.

Also had to make a jig to use with the StewMac plunge router base and Dremel to cut away excess fretboard to allow the nut to fit.

The stick in the last picture was made to hold a fret down so I could wax the fretboard along a popped up fret to allow glue to get down in the slot and not stick to the fretboard.

Installed a new Schaller bridge and brass nut on my 86 Gibson Les Paul Custom. I love this guitar even more now.

It seems Facebook has changed how business pages work, and I haven't been receiving notifications for messages and mentions. Quite sorry about that! I'll need to find another way of making sure I can be in contact with everyone.

Just a reminder, I work full time, 3rd shift hours, and sleep during the day. OHMega Guitars is my side gig. I try to get to everyone when I can.

Also, I just hit 2 years of doing this as of yesterday! I love you all for trusting me to work on your guitars over the last 2 years. I've put a lot of time, effort, and love into working on everyone's guitars so that you can fall in love with them all over again.

I still plan on on pivoting into building guitars in the future, but I need to get creative and find a way to make it happen. I'm severely lacking in facilities as I just work out of my laundry/utility room. I have to fight for space with a furnace, washer, dryer, hot water tank, and various other things. If anyone has any leads on somewhere I could use as a workshop, with 24/7 access (due to my 3rd shift work schedule) that would rule!

Next up on the bench is this lawsuit era Ibanez Strat. This thing needs a little bit of everything, new bridge pickup, deep clean, and a full setup.

And this is why you take the time to go over every part. Bent spring block pin, which won't allow for proper motion when using the whammy bar. It sure would suck to do a dive bomb and have that pin snap, thus rendering your vehicle disabled and your trip ruined.
