One of the greatest signs of spiritual maturity is learning how to respond when people don't treat you the way you deserve. It's easy to be kind to those who are kind to us. The real challenge comes when we've been hurt, overlooked, rejected, or mistreated.
The world says, "Give them what they gave you."
God says, "Give them what I gave you—grace."
Treating someone better than they treated you doesn't mean you approve of their behavior or allow them to continue hurting you. It means you refuse to let their actions change your character. You choose to walk in love, integrity, and obedience to God regardless of how others behave.
Jesus was betrayed, mocked, and crucified, yet He prayed, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do" (Luke 23:34). He showed us that love is not determined by how people treat us but by who we belong to.

Just as your body needs food every day to stay healthy and strong, your mind and spirit need the Word of God to remain nourished, focused, and spiritually fit.
Many people wonder why they feel discouraged, anxious, overwhelmed, or spiritually weak. Sometimes the answer is simple: we've been feeding on everything except God's truth. Social media, news reports, opinions, and distractions can fill our minds, but only God's Word has the power to renew our thinking and strengthen our faith.
When you spend time in Scripture daily, you begin to think differently. God's promises become louder than your fears. His truth becomes stronger than your doubts. His peace becomes greater than your worries.
The more you feed your mind with God's Word, the more prepared you are to face life's challenges. The enemy wants to influence your thoughts, but God's Word helps you guard your heart and mind. It reminds you who God is, whose you are, and what He has promised.
Don't wait until you're in trouble to open your Bible. Feed your spirit every day. Even a few moments spent reading, meditating, and praying can transform the direction of your entire day.
Remember: what you feed grows. Feed your faith, starve your fear, and watch God strengthen you from the inside out.
