Sorry for not posting for so long. We are passing a cold back and forth here, so we tried a new (to me, lol) simple home...

Sorry for not posting for so long. We are passing a cold back and forth here, so we tried a new (to me, lol) simple homemade remedy to help clear up the congestion (which just will not go away). Taking over the counter stuff isn’t helping, so I whipped up a batch of this carrot syrup...and it’s FINALLY breaking up! 🙌🏻
How do you get through your winter colds?

5 large carrots
Juice of 1 lemon
4tbs honey

Clean and peel the carrots and chop into small even pieces. Boil them in 4 cups of water until they are tender. Keep the water! Blend/smash the carrots and put them back in the water. Once the mixture is lukewarm add the lemon juice and honey and mix well. Refrigerate for 24 hours. Boom!
I’ve been taking 5 tablespoons in the morning and can definitely tell a difference!
