Selling on eBay this week! First editions of U.S. Grant’s Memoirs from 1885,1886. Other Civil War related books also selling. Please check out seller marycatherinesantiques!

The photos give a good indication of condition and wear. There Is age yellowing in both books but very little foxing. The books are in fair condition. I do not know anymore about it other than what you can read.

We haven’t posted anything for sale for awhile, but will be offering some interesting items this week!
This is a most unusual Gilbert Clock Company shelf clock-circa 1880, over-sized walnut case at 20” high and 14” wide, original stenciling on the glass door, with a beautiful brass pendulum for adjusting time or strike. It tick tocks, and has a nice sounding strike, but does not run. I cannot wind it so it probably needs a cleaning or possibly new springs but the case alone is a work of art. $175.00 as is. Please message with any questions or interest.
