What a surreal weekend.
As many of you know, Cedar Spring Farm has been our baby for a while now. We had a vision to take this old 1800s barn and turn it into a space that the community could enjoy.
There’s been so much time, money and energy put into this project. There’s been many tears, late nights and pivoting plans. There’s been sacrifices, doubts, nay-sayers, and so much sweat equity put into this dream.
But this weekend we got to see it all come to fruition.
We are so grateful that someone else was able to see the vision and trust blindly in us to follow through with creating the space we knew this could become.
With that said, absolutely none of this would have been possible without our family and friends. I might be biased, but it truly feels like we’ve been blessed with the best there is.
Friends, taking off work to support us. Bringing food, believing in us and showing up even when we are too busy to do the same. Countless hours spent investing in someone else’s dream.
Family, pulling together and doing, what felt at times, like the impossible. I am forever amazed at my parents and how much they will give to support their kids dreams. For our spouses, that have believed in us, worked right along side us and have given up a slower lifestyle for a while to pursue this dream. It has been the coolest to work alongside my family members (most of the time) and to know that everything was worth it. It is something none of us will ever forget.
And to literally every single person that played a role in this, we thank you. Whether that was physically slinging a hammer or just sending us a message of support- it does not go unnoticed.
We cannot wait to learn and grow and to see the future of Cedar Spring Farm.
