This weekend, Elevate Childhood Cancer Research and Advocacy was honored to join the Indiana Cancer Consortium(ICC) and the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center Office of Community Outreach and Engagement at The Commons for a FREE Cancer Survivorship Event.
As an active ICC member, Elevate was excited to be part of a day dedicated to connection, education, resources, and support for survivors and families. A huge 🤩thank you 🙌to our incredible volunteers who helped represent Elevate and engage with attendees throughout the event!
The day was filled with interactive booths, activities, valuable information, and opportunities for meaningful conversations. We were also thrilled to enjoy delicious and healthy bites from Gourmet Grazing Boards—many may remember their beautiful charcuterie displays from Elevate the Stage (and they will be back)!
And speaking of awareness… keep an eye out next month as we shine a spotlight on 💛Sarcoma Awareness Month💛. You’ll be seeing more sunflowers🌻, learning about their connection to the sarcoma community, and joining us as we continue to advocate, educate, and empower families affected by childhood cancer.
