Finally got all the tools built to pull this barrel. Now it is cut from 22 inches to 16.5 (legal), crowned, threaded, blued and oiled. Next step is reassembly, touch up, and delivery. It's a 45/70 Govt lever action Marlin.

My latest lesson. The dealers say they can't keep these on the shelf. I figure I'll need to know how to fix them. Better to learn on my own equipment.

Sweet job on this H&K USP. Replaced the Law Enforcement components with the OEM parts, supplied by the customer. Decocker on this one works when the safety lever is pushed down. Tested, cleaned, and oiled. Those two holes in the board are the "exit wounds" from the bullet stop. The first two layers are 2x6, and this is a piece of 3/4 plywood. That's 3-3/4 inches of pine. Gotta love that .40 S&W flat point. It punches!

That's a flash hider pinned to a .223 complete upper. Then it was welded and blued to match. Considerable precision required. Another happy customer.
