In search of consistent hay supplier for years to cone: desire large square bales (600-800 pounds) 2nd- 3rd cutting all grass: prefer orchard may have Timothy and Brome but No fescue no rye. Will need 50+tons per year for 2 alpaca farms in Michigan

Farm Hand Wanted

Our journey in the camelid world began with the “purchase/rescue” of our beloved llama Norman from a livestock auction on May 28,2006. Norman needed friends, so began our alpaca adventure. When we got Norman, he hadn’t been sheared in quite some time: we found a shearer and a vet to check him out. At that time, they estimated he was 12-15 years old.
He was a kind gentle soul who loved all… he was a great “uncle” to all the alpaca cria. A wonderful guard to our alpacas, always vigilant! We said goodbye to Norman today 7/10/2021 at 7:33 am, with us by him as he passed on to run in greener pastures with all who passed before him and standing guard for all who will come. Thank you Norman, “cool dude llama”
