🍁 Sap Season Starts NOW at Elmer’s! 🍁

Ever thought about making your own maple syrup? You don’t need a sugar bush or fancy equipment — just a few maple trees, a little patience, and the right supplies (we’ve got you covered 😉).

Our maple syrup end cap is fully stocked with everything you need to get started:
✅ Taps & spouts
✅ Tubing & sap bags
✅ Starter kits (perfect for beginners!)
✅ Aluminum buckets & covers
✅ Filters for finishing
✅ Pint jugs of ready-to-enjoy maple syrup

🌲 Beginner Tapping Tips:• Tap when daytime temps rise above freezing and nights drop below — that’s when sap flows best.• Choose healthy maple trees at least 10–12 inches in diameter.• Drill a small hole about 2–2½ inches deep, slightly upward.• One tap per average tree is plenty — let the tree stay healthy!• Boil sap outdoors if you can… it takes about 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup, but the smell alone makes it worth it.

There’s something pretty special about pouring syrup on pancakes that YOU made yourself. It’s simple, fun, and a great project for families, kids, or anyone ready to try something new this spring.

Today we’re tipping our hats (and maybe a powdered wig 😉) to the leaders who helped shape our country — and celebrating America’s 250th birthday era as we head toward the big Semiquincentennial in 2026! That’s 250 years of hard work, ingenuity, and good old-fashioned problem solving… sounds a lot like a trip to your local hardware store if you ask me..😂

And because no holiday passes without a little fun around here… Sonya has officially reported for duty as George Washington himself! 🇺🇸If you know Sonya, you know she never misses a chance to dress for the occasion — and honestly, we wouldn’t have it any other way.
