Hourly Salary Range (commensurate with experience): $23.63-28.78 per hour with annual benchmarking and pay increases to always ensure a competitive salary.
MidwayUSA has a brand new Nitro Express 3.0 Washington Distribution Center located just outside Columbia, MO. This state-of-the-art Distribution Center includes Vertical Lift Modules for picking and stocking, Perfect Pick goods-to-person picking and stocking, Fast Pick picking and stocking, Put-To-Wall receiving, Sure Sort receiving, and Packsize Ultra 5 Custom Packaging machines.
We are adding a Maintenance Technician to our team to support the Distribution Center operations by maintaining all equipment and a showroom appearance of the facility. In this position, you will work Sunday-Thursday, 12:30-9:00pm.
In This Role, You Will
Perform advanced Conveyor maintenance & repair
Maintain, fabricate and lubricate machine tools and equipment.
Weld and fabricate, using mig, tig or arc welding equipment and plasma cutter or oxyacetylene torch/
Repair or replace faulty wiring, switches, or relays/
Execute preventative maintenance, problem solve and repair plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic and mechanical machinery and equipment.
Read meters, gauges, or automatic recording devices at specified intervals to verify operating conditions.
Visually inspect equipment at periodic intervals to detect malfunctions or need for repair, adjustment, or lubrication.
About You
You have 4 years of relevant maintenance experience or 2 years experience with Associate degree in electronics,
mechanical or advanced maintenance technology.
You have the ability to utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams and manufacturer installation guides
You have welding experience
You have demonstrated proficiency in warehouse equipment maintenance
You have experience with electrical circuits, operating and repairing material handle equipment (i.e. Pallet jacks, sit down forklift, etc.)
You have knowledge of general construction and carpentry to include but not limited to drill press, saws, and basic hand ad battery operated hand tools
You have a background and training in general safety knowledge to include lockout tagout, hot works and OSHA guidelines.
You have knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Office.
You have a valid Missouri Class E drivers license and are able to be certified on all company forklifts and scissor lifts.
