One of my favorite pieces on my small but mighty shelf is this beautiful hand-carved wooden butter mold featuring an elegant swan pattern. 🦢 Long before butter came wrapped in paper, molds like these were used to create beautiful designs, turning an everyday necessity into something worthy of the table. Today, they make stunning farmhouse, cottage, or primitive décor and are just as beautiful displayed on a wall, shelf, or kitchen hutch.

Make that final lap through the thrift store

How many times to you go through the aisles at a thrift store? 1, 2, does it depend on whether they are actively stocking or not?

Yesterday, while thrifting, I made 3 trips through the aisles (they were actively stocking). Just as I was about to checkout, I felt the need to do one final walk through the glassware….. and found this beauty!
