Strange Daze has done its thing and now we will close our doors. It's rather sudden, but we'll be here until the end of May with 20%-70% off practically the entire shop, $1 bins and discount racks! Come shop the teams collections in one place before we all set out on our new individual adventures🩷 (we'll be posting where you can find each vendor through the summer)
Why? Nothing too juicy..our building sold and in order for Strange Daze to continue we'd have to relocate. I, the owner of SD and curator of Rarity Trading Co, was already coming upon a fork in my road before receiving this news. I was wondering how much more I had to give, how much passion was left to run a whole shop. Owning/operating a brick& mortar for 5 years has been rewarding in so many ways but was also a struggle for all the reasons I'm sure one can imagine. The contemplation on what choice to make has had my mind going beyond chaotic.. but in the end I felt called to let this chapter close and move forward with a new path.
The shout outs I want to give to the incredible team of woman that made Strange Daze everything it was, my incredibly supportive friends and family,the community of Columbia, the business community of Columbia, our fun & happy customers and the vintage lovers and resellers statewide..well, it's going to take me 3 weeks of posts to say the things I'd love to say. Stay tuned😶🌫️
