Happy Monday!

Hope everyone had an awesome, and eventful Easter! 🐰

Now that the Holiday is over, its time to get back to work, and that is exactly what we are doing this morning!

underway in the shop today!

We got our man Jason Moore (Mo) finishing up a monster of a fixture this morning!

Now it’s time to verify the fixtures clamping functionality with an extensive 100 cycle hydraulic test. Following the hydraulic test, the fixture is then transported to the CMM Lab for its final quality inspection. 📝

Speaking of strong...

Can you guess what we are making on the DMG NTX 2000 today?🔧

Its not a bicycle wheel...Its not a pirates helm either...

If you guessed a massive cutting head on a CAT50 backend, then you are correct!

This cutting head is constructed from 4140 Prehard Steel, and will measure in just over 10 inches in diameter! 📏
Cant wait to get this tool finished, assembled and put to the test!

Its Monday morning! Hope everyone had a great weekend! Its a good day to throw some chips! 🔧 ⚙️

At PDQ, we offer many different types of backends on our custom tooling. There is one backend in particular that many companies don't offer... That backend is none other than the CAPTO C6. We have quite a few of them going through the machining/quality process today!

The first picture is an example of a tool in the middle of our machining-inspection process prior to its Black Oxide finishing.
The second picture shows another tool after its Black Oxide finish! Just look at those tools! 🛠️

Most people like to take it a little easier on Fridays. All of our minds are on the Weekend. Here at PDQ we don't slow down just because its Friday. We keep grinding.
Here we got our Lead of Tooling Assembly: Landon Bunch, putting some finishing touches on a bunch of different Tools! We are going to need a bigger table!
The key to getting through a dragging Friday? Keep busy by making custom CNC Tools. 🤷 OR Email us at [email protected] and we will make them for you!
