Now in production! I’m excited for this batch of mostly Ukrainian African Violets - for those that grow violets you know it will be a while until we have adult plants for sale from this group, but with varieties like Alen Organza and LE-Fuksievo Kruzhevo (LE-Fuchsia Lace), I just couldn’t wait to share what’s in our growing tent. We are doing our best to ramp up production now that we have the space and set up to do so, make sure you check out what varieties are on the floor when you stop in.

We have so many orchids in full bloom right now! Stop in this week to pick out your favorite, it’s nearing the end of Miltoniopsis season so these may be the last we get for a while - unless there are some “late bloomers” lurking in our partners’ greenhouses. Chocolate orchids too! We only get them in the spring!

Hey friends, we will be closed today, June 2nd. I need to take a day to rest a back injury, hope to be back in the shop for our regular open hours tomorrow. Walked into the shop this morning to a few surprises! Our Zglm. Louisendorf ‘Rhein Moonlight’ is peloric! A peptic flower is a genetic mutation where blooms develop a symmetrical bloom vs their typical asymmetrical bloom. For many orchids this means they’ll often have three “lips” or some variation of the bloom. Still gorgeous and still smells amazing!
