Get Outdoors Day is tomorrow!! Please join us along with a ton of other outdoor businesses for activities, free demos, giveaways and plenty of ways to discover your next adventure in the Pikes Peak region. North Catamount is back 🎣

Starting May 1st, this local favorite is fully accessible again after the road closure since October 2023. No more long hikes—vehicle access to both North and South Catamount is officially restored.

North Catamount is loaded with rainbow, cutbow, brook, and lake trout, all with some unreal views to match. It’s hard to beat a fishery this close to home being this easy to get to again.

South Catamount is reopening too, but water levels are still low. The lake has been restocked with rainbow trout and even some tiger musky.

Access is through Pikes Peak Highway ($5 entry). See you up there 👊
