Naturally in a time crunch because it’s busy as all heck, we decided to wazercut this whole design out. Some not-so-quick foiling, a small glass stab wound for me, a fast solder job later, and VOILA! Or should we say MEOW!

Sara is one of our absolute faves. Her energy is so bright and cheery. She has a great time in every class and is so friendly to everyone.
Georgianne didn’t know Sara. They just happened to sign up for the same pattern schedule for the same day and time. She came in with a touching story about wanting to learn the stained glass process. She’s familiar with glass fusing already. And let me tell you, WOW she had THEEEE BEST EVER grinding of any student I’ve seen. Honestly, her grinding was better than a lot of practicing artist I’ve seen. I was surprisingly amazed. Mind blown in the best of ways.

Savannah got some studio time in recently. I helped her with a little wire reinforcement for those hinge joints, but she totally knocked this out of the park all on her own. I love seeing people get some glassy zen time in!

She said this was a ween tattoo piece or something? But I don’t see that.

You asked and we listened! We’ve been working on adding fusing classes with a similar set up to our stained glass classes - self-scheduling, design choice freedom.

I call glass fusing “glass macaroni art” because its so easy for beginners. These crafty classes are meant to be as simple as possible. If you’ve balked at how complex stained glass is, or even shy away from trying to fit mosaic pieces together, come check out these classes.
