One of these days I'll get over the joys of getting extremely high quality products from third and fourth party companies at a fraction of the cost and with major improvements in presentation, articulation, and accessories...but today is not that day in the slightest LOL

Wanted to show off my new camera!!!

I am finally joining the big leagues with some serious, pro equipment! It was a long time coming but I finally decided to get a legit camera instead of just having a shaky hand in my phone and trying to make it work.

What do you think of the new setup?

Got the older Perceptor but he's new to me! Had to show off how nice it is to finally have a working scope (the new one is painted 😵‍💫).

And I gotta say that I was shocked how WELL the scope works and what crazy stuff you'll see that can't be seen with the naked eye!

Star Wars Episode II was the first movie from the franchise that I got to see in theater and it absolutely impacted me as a fan in ways I never expected! I was pretty young back when the movie came out and we didn't have a whole lot of money back then. So getting to see this epic sweeping tail on the big screen with my mom is one of the coolest things ever. In fact, I remember this was one of those serial campaigns where if you had enough box tops saved up, you were able to get a movie ticket and I ate some cereal I didn't even like for almost 2 months and asked all my friends if they could give me their box tops so I could see this on the big screen.

You can dislike the movie and say whatever you want about it, that it will always have a huge and special place in my heart as one of my favorite memories in the movie theater experience!

My take on Batman's Enhanced Suit from the Flash.
I did not like that movie, and I hated the suit Batman had, but with some tweaks and adjustments and complete replacements of other parts...?
It can totally work as its own thing! I liked the way it looks like the Arkham games' suit, so I leaned into that aesthetic as I made this, and I love the results!

Believe it or not, this is a loose cloth cape in these photos that I very carefully laid for each shot 😂

"The Red Capes are coming...The Red Capes are coming...!"

Say what you will, the idea of sewing fear and conspiracy into people with media, historical allusions, and violent acts of terrorism was a perfect allegory in this film for how we have, as a culture, become radicalized by politics in modern America.

I've planned to make this for some time, and finally seeing it come to fruition has been like a dream come true.
It's fairly simple, yes, but the small details that came out as I went about making this just reminded me why this would be such a worthy undertaking.
I'm beyond proud of this one 🥹🩶





It hurts a bit, in hindsight, that mine was finished months ago, but now the reveal seems less special since last night McFarlane announced their own version as a "chase" figure. I stand by my work, things like this have happened before, and I am grateful others can have their own version of this iconic scene for themselves!
