Since 1995, Eddie Dowdle has performed and taught throughout Colorado in many different facets. Specializing in teaching drumset, concert percussion, and marching percussion, Eddie teaches private lessons to students of all ages. Eddie is a currently a drummer and percussionist with the 101st Army Band of the Colorado National Guard. Eddie is currently teaching percussion at Western Nebraska Comm

unity College over Skype. As the Director of Drumline at Colorado State University-Pueblo for 6 years, Eddie wrote music for and coached the fall and spring Drumlines. Eddie received his degree in music performance from Metro State College of Denver. Eddie is a member of the: Vic Firth Education Team, Percussive Arts Society, Hudson Music Teacher Integration Program, and Pikes Peak Musician’s Association. Eddie has performed with classical ensembles and orchestras, rock bands, jazz bands, churches, and theaters including the Chamber Orchestra of the Springs, Colorado Springs Philharmonic, Arapahoe Philharmonic, Colorado Wind Ensemble, Boulder Dinner Theatre, Lake Dillon Theater, Town Hall Arts Center, and many others.

Today's weather and the fact that I am closed next Friday makes for a tough decision whether to stay open for lessons tonight.
I have delayed the decision a bit to watch the weather and roads, and have decided it will be O.K. to remain open for business tonight.
Please do not feel pressured to come in for lessons if you feel the weather and roads are too unsafe to travel. Just let me know if you decide to cancel, and I completely understand!
