Mountain View Books Relocation Announcement

Mountain View Books will be relocating from our Old Colorado City location at 2409 W. Cucharras Street to 723 Dale Street, Fountain, Colorado at the end of July.

Earlier this year, we expanded by acquiring a second bookstore, adding even more books, media, and artwork to our inventory. Our Fountain location is currently open Tuesday through Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

To help us prepare for the move, we're having sales throughout June and continuing through July 6. Stop by for great deals on books, media, and art, and help us downsize our inventory for a smooth transition.

We also have bookshelves available for purchase. If you are interested, please contact us for details.

Authors and other consignors will be contacted this month regarding the finalization of consigned items currently in our store.

Our holiday hours are as follows: we will be open on Christmas Eve from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, closed on Christmas Day, and then reopening from December 26th to 28th from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm. We will take some time off at the end of the year and reopen on January 2nd, 2026, from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm. Stay tuned for some exciting changes coming in 2026!
