This isn’t the post we wanted to make, but I feel I have a responsibility in this community to call out bad actors who take advantage of customers and vendors.
We’ve partnered with Elena from Mountains and Magic Events at various bookish events and it has been an endless ordeal of bad communication, bounced checks, missed deadlines, and lack of payments entirely. And we haven’t been the only ones affected.
Since the Everflame Ball, myself and other vendors have been trying to get responses from Elena regarding money owed.
I want to ensure our bookish community is protected and everyone is taken care of. It hurts me to know that many of us have been affected by her business practices, and digital attendees are just now starting to receive their promised items from the ball, almost 7 weeks later.
