This is Robert the owner of the former Oasis Custom Fi****ms. Hello from the other side. I miss all of you in Colorado and I am very sad we had to leave but the reason why we left is the reason for this post.
Colorado is facing some of the toughest anti 2A legislation right now that it has ever seen in its history. If you have not heard of the assault weapons ban that has already passed the house committees vote and is headed for the state senate, it is bad but they are tricking all of you fellow gun owners.
The assault weapons ban covers more than 80% of the semi auto fi****ms that everyone owns to include handguns, shotguns anything that has a pistol grip and a muzzle brake, barrel shroud, adjustable stock, for grip and so much more.
Don’t say it’ll never happen because 70% of the state house and senate is now controlled by dems and this bill has already passed on the house committee floor.
BUT THEY ARE FOOLING YOU…….as they are doing a great job drawing our attention towards this assault weapons ban, in the background they are trying to pass like 9 other bill that involve mandatory gun owners insurance and we’re not talking USAA or US Lawshield (this will create a state gun registration database), these bills also invlove mandatory lock boxes inside vehicles, banning carrying in almost all public spaces, and an 11% increase on taxes for fi****ms and ammo sales.
If you are getting this post PLEASE STAND UP, tell everyone you can. This is serious and will happen. There is not enough support from national agencies to fight this and the Rocky Mountain Gun Owners isn’t big enough to hold the front line.
Fight Colorado Fight, now is the time to call your reps, send emails, show up to testify against these bills.
