This Charcuterie Board is 26 inches from tip of handle to end of board. The handle is about 6 inches.

The serving area, then, measures approximately 20" x 6".

This live-edge slab was sold to me as "Russian Olive Wood."

I am not an expert on exotic woods so I cannot say with 100% certainty that it is Russian Olive Wood.

However, it conforms to the descriptions of Russian Olive Wood I have found in various sources, especially the unpleasant smell when worked.

Friends, family, and customers ask, "Where did you learn to work with wood?"

It started in High School. Mr. Story at San Marcos High School (CA) was the best wood shop teacher in San Diego County.

Since then, I have taken classes at my local Woodcraft, both here in Colorado Springs and in Richmond, VA.

My instructor here in CO is Brian Hubel. He teaches at Woodcraft.
