I was staying at the Maine Primitive Skills school last month and i slept in one of the bushcamps for a few nights. These bushcamps are made with conifer trees that have been debarked. The shelters have a rocket stove with pipes that circulate halfway around the shelter before exiting. This makes it very heat efficient!
