As of 1 Jul 2025, it is now legal in Iowa for 18-20 year olds to buy a handgun. but before you or someone you know of that age goes out and buys one, here's a tip. If they go to an FFL dealer to buy one, the FFL gun dealer cannot do a background check on them, since it is still illegal at federal level, so the FBI background check will not go through. I found this out yesterday. for those that want a gun, you need a Permit to Purchase or Nonprofessional Carry card from your Sherrif's office to buy that perdy pi***la. Have a safe and fun day.

Here is a map of the sxs ride Saturday we will depart the station at 1 p.m. and head toward hickory grove and up to Colo. Depart Colo and head north to St Anthony and back down to state center and finally back to the station. The route is 62 miles of gravel roads and some paved roads and should return to the station around 5 p.m.
