This Malayer rug (C90540) is a circa 1920s Persian carpet defined by its elegant elongated proportions, refined allover lattice design, and beautifully time-softened palette of ivory, pale sky blue, soft terracotta and oxidised red.

Hand-knotted in wool with delicate floral and geometric motifs, it reflects the quiet sophistication of traditional Malayer weaving.
