Reminder ! No Mow May 🌼leave these dandelions for the honey bees. They are the some first food available the bees and have tons of nutriotnal value the bees need to start the hive up in the spring

🚫 Avoid using pesticides⁠.
🌻 Plant native flowers, shrubs and trees.⁠
📆 Plan for a succession of blooms that provide pollen and nectar from early spring through fall.⁠
🏡 Leave some wild areas in your yard for nesting shelter (unmowed grass, brush piles, rock piles, leaf litter, etc.).⁠
🍁 Don't rake up the leaves in fall.
🌱 Delay your spring garden cleanup to avoid disturbing any overwintering queens until they're ready to emerge.

We hauled in 50 gals of sap today and are working hard to boil it down. Charlie has been a big help chopping wood today 🙌🍁 syrup coming soon !
