My apologies to any followers that aren’t near us on McDonald or Marvin Roads but we think it important to get this information out to as many nearby residents as possible. We understand that there is to be a Zoning board meeting at the senior center tomorrows evening at 7:00 P.M. to review a proposal to put a manufactured home park (read that as trailer park) that will front on Marvin Road and have water shed through McDonald Road to the Norwich reservoir. We are concerned about the effects of this project for several reasons, including additional tax burdens, reduced property values, impact on water quality and septic systems and others. Please attend the meeting tomorrow to measure the full impact of this proposal. Thank you for your attention.

We made Russian Rye for the first time since covid yesterday. It turned out well. We made paninis with it for lunch today.

We made Szarlotka yesterday, also known as Jewish Apple Pie, a New York Times recipe. Really good! There’s also a Polish version with the same name. It looks really good and we’ll try that recipe soon too.

I made a panini for lunch today on the panini press with Rein’s Deli corned beef and my own Cole slaw. I love paninis.
