A message from our founders! 👋
"National Asthma and Allergy Awareness Month is an especially meaningful time for our family and everyone here at Vermont Nut Free Chocolates.
For families managing food allergies, everyday moments can come with extra stress and uncertainty. Re-reading labels, questioning ingredients, and passing on dessert are all moments this community understands too well.
When our son was diagnosed with a life-threatening peanut allergy, we quickly realized how difficult it was to find chocolate we could trust completely. What started as a way to create safe treats for him soon became something much bigger: a mission to help other families enjoy chocolate without fear or compromise.
For more than 28 years, that mission has guided every decision we make.
From sourcing high-quality ingredients to carefully crafting our chocolates in a dedicated peanut and tree nut free facility, allergen safety has always been at the center of what we do. We’ve never wanted families to feel like they have to settle for “good enough” when it comes to special moments, traditions, or simple everyday treats.
Over the years, we’ve heard from parents whose children were able to safely enjoy Halloween candy, Easter baskets, birthday parties, and school celebrations for the very first time because of our chocolates. Those stories continue to motivate and inspire us every day!
To everyone in the food allergy community: thank you for trusting us to be part of your lives and your traditions. Your support means more than we can put into words.
We’re proud to continue creating premium chocolate that families can enjoy with confidence, and we remain as committed to that mission today as we were when this journey first began." 🩵
