Teeny-tiny make-overs are so satisfying! (Swipe right for the before) I usually hang a smattering of kids artwork/photos/cards on various strings on this section of brick (should have gotten a pic of that🤦🏼‍♀️). Basically a kids bulletin board of messy goodness. I bought this old wire basket at a yard sale and just had to snip off stray wires, spray with a clear coat of poly, hang and decorate! And now I have a slightly more organized, pretty way to display the messy goodness🤗🌿

What happens when you have a free weekend with no kids sporting events or photography jobs? You renovate something of course! Swipe right to see the before of this dresser turned buffet that my son and I picked out from our local Habitat for Humanity ReStore! I sanded down the dated, mid-century, honey-colored finish and decided to re-stain it with a white Minwax stain to match my dining room table. As I was staining, I was second guessing my choice of stain over paint as I didn’t want it to look like a cheap, IKEA looking piece, but I think I achieved a nice balance of coverage with visible wood grain that doesn’t look like particle board (whew!) I also may have mainly picked out this piece because I love the handles so much🌿

Fun Brimfield finds from this weekend! I went specifically looking for 8 vintage drawer pulls to finish a project, a metal wreath, hooks to hang necklaces, Jadeite and coastal decor (specially a tin fish or crab mold) - ✅✅✅✅✅ And I got to go with my lovely sister-in-law !❤️
