MANNA is a working studio + retail shop, constructed by husband and wife duo, Zak and Whitney Shelhamer. Whitney is a fine jewelry designer, goldsmith and creator of Manna (www.whitneyshelhamer.com), while Zak is an award winning commercial/documentary film director and marketing strategist (www.zakshelhamer.com). In 2016 they felt a call on their hearts to leave Half Moon Bay, California and head
for the wild coastline of Yachats, Oregon. Nestled against the breathtaking Pacific Northwest ocean, Manna was born and grown as their brick and mortar storefront. After 5 wonderful years on the Oregon Coast and the arrival of their daughter (Marigold), Zak and Whitney headed north to once again be close to family. Now rooted in the heart of downtown Coeur d’Alene, Manna serves as the flagship shop for Whitney's pieces, as well as the retail home for other curated and crafted goods. You will also find hand-forged fine jewelry (from one of a kind engagement rings to simple initial necklaces), ceramics, a Common Good refill station for natural home products, quality skincare, textiles, men's items, pantry components and an abundance of other provisions for thoughtful living. Wander through the doors and you will likely observe the hammering of gold and setting of precious stones, Palo Santo being chopped and bundled and the aroma of wondrous scents.
