This is one of my FAVORITE pages in the entire journal. 🥹🤍

Because forgiveness doesn’t mean what happened was okay.

It doesn’t mean you have to forget.
It doesn’t mean you have to reconcile.
It doesn’t mean you have to let that person back into your life.

Sometimes forgiveness simply means releasing the weight you’ve been carrying and trusting God with the hurt.

And whew… THAT part. 😭

Some of us have been carrying things for years that God has been asking us to lay down.

You don’t have to have every answer. You don’t have to feel completely healed overnight. Forgiveness can be a process.
