Chilly morning! If you missed the Pumpkin Festival, you missed a great time! The streets were packed and the vendors were showing out! Some of the food trucks ran out of food before the bands started!

Uniqueness NOW was open and I was thrilled to see some of my old students! I even had a family member stop by and visit Cochran. The shop stayed crowded all afternoon. At times people turned away because we were packed! Overall a great day! It was packed I was not able to greet and talk to many of the visitors!

A few items new to the shop:

Lenox "Winter Greetings" china set. I have two sets, never used! The colors on the birds are vivid and bright! Great set for that couple that wants a special Christmas dinner for two! Or you can add to your existing set. $95 a set.

Bread Box: $40

Albums:

Jimi Hendrix: "The Cry of Love", $15

Blackfoot: "Maurader", $8

Still blocked on sharing, the block should lift 19 Nov.

Morning all! Uniqueness NOW is open and is a mess, or as one customer told me it is charming, she was being polite.

Instead of posting items for sale I thought I would post a pictures of some of Cochran's past.

The first one is a stock certificate for the Albany Limerock Corporation, signed by James M. D***s.
I have a book of the certificates some blank and some "paid". A little research and you will get the full information on this corporation and Mr D***s

Then a receipt from Coody's dairy, dated 1960. I have several of these. Check the price of "sweet milk", 4 quarts for 1.02. Three quarts of buttermilk for .58 cents.

A receipt Pepsi-Cola bottling of Macon. One crate for a $1.00. 1960

A receipt from H. M. Hatcher Grocery Company, made out to the People's Bake Shop in Cochran. 1959. Four cases of fruit jars, $4.20 total.

Some cool info from the past.

Uniqueness NOW will be closed Saturday, it is my birthday and I am going "junking". Enjoy!
