Ranching is so much better done together😂🤎

Hay and protein tubs are being added for the cattle and sheep. End of summer grasses are just not enough to satisfy the heard now. We use a hay sled to move the bale for the sheep as we rotate pastures.

She finished her fight. For 6 days we did all we could, but even now, none of that was a waste. She was in our care, and we strive to be faithful in our stewardship to the end.
Luke 16:10
He who is faithful in what is least is faithful also in much; and he who is unjust in what is least is unjust also in much.
Colossians 3:17
And whatever you do in word or deed, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through Him.

The pigs are growing. They have rooted up the area they are in and will be moved soon. It’s gonna be a bit of a bushwhack to set up the next paddock for them but I’m excited to see how they clean up this wooded area for us. Follow us to keep up with what’s happening on the ranch! Thank y’all!

She keeps showing up every morning, still willing to drink, and eat. Im well aware that I don’t know all that needs to be done, but if she’s still trying, so will I. Short of a blood transfusion, I’m doing all that I know at this point. Nutri-drench, iron, b complex, b12, electrolytes, good feed and minerals, all the way to a good pat down to keep things from settling in her lungs. Please get better little lamb…💛

Cinnamon has an ear infection. We’ve never had a calf have an ear infection. First time for everything. We’re all busy, so the content is gonna be real raw, real short, but real life. Follow us if you want to see what’s happening on the ranch! Thank y’all!

I pulled ANOTHER stick out of Ferguson’s foot. He had stepped on a stick last week and I had treated it every day. It was almost all healed up and then he did it again🙄. Oh well… that’s the way it goes sometimes.

She’s still here. The good news: No more scouring! Upping and adding a few more things to her care cart. Aaaand, it sounds like she’s developing some pneumonia, so there’s that… I do not have all the answers 😓 Elsewhere on the ranch, Cinnamon has an ear infection. Ferguson, has stepped on a stick that went between his hooves and it came out above the hoof, treated it every day, almost all healed up, and bam! He did it again. Same hole. 🙄 Anyways, that’s the update, folks! Follow along if you want to. Thank y’all!
