As we move into 2026, Mad’s Place is evolving into Mad’s Studio.
It may look (and function) a bit different, but it carries the same heart, the same purpose, and the same commitment to community, education, and healing.

Many of you know my intention was to reopen in early October. As it turns out, intentions don’t always line up with reality. These past few weeks—really, for the first time since we closed the store in July—things have finally started to flow again. I think I needed to let the weight of 2025 clear out completely and begin with a fresh slate. My mind and body needed that reset, too.

My priorities feel crystal clear now. They come back to what’s always mattered most to me: community, education, and healing.

Moving forward, Mad’s Studio will offer small group gatherings where we can learn and grow together, sessions on the Vibroacoustic Therapy Bed, in-depth Aura Photography coaching sessions, and yes—my Paranormal Posse is already scouting new locations for investigations!! While we won’t have a large retail space anymore, I’ll still have the essentials covered—crystals, chime candles, sage, cleansing waters, oils, tarot cards, and more.

We’re very close to opening the doors. And in the meantime, I really want to hear from you—how you’re doing, what you need, and how I can best serve this community as we move forward together. I’ve missed you all so much!!

Does anyone else feel like October 1st is the real New Year’s Day?

There’s something magical about this time of year—it’s like a parade of holidays, and a blessed relief from the Texas heat. For us, it feels especially powerful this year.

2025 hasn’t been easy. Our business and personal lives have both been through challenges that shook us to the core. But today, on this first day of October, we’re feeling the sparks of renewal and the promise of something even better than what we had.

Since July, I’ve been holding onto the vision that October would bring a reopening. It may not look exactly like the storefront we once had, and there have been plenty of setbacks along the way, but I believe with all my heart that everything happens at exactly the right time.

Here’s what I’m so excited about this month:

• Saturday, October 18th → The Halloween Market in West Columbia! Vendor spots are sold out, which means an amazing lineup of places to shop. Wear your favorite costumes, bring your friends, and come celebrate with us! 🕸️🧡

• I’m working hard behind the scenes to open the studio for appointments. My hope is to welcome you soon for vibroacoustic therapy on the inHarmony Sound Lounge, coaching sessions with Aura Photography, and mini retreats, classes, and gatherings on the topics we love to share.
• Our shop items are making their way back too—sage, crystals, chime candles, and more. I’m unpacking boxes and placing fresh supply orders now. The phone is back on today (979-266-9754), so text me if there’s something you need—I may not have it all organized yet, but I’ll do my best to help.

I’m so grateful for this community and so ready to begin this new era. Thank you for walking this journey with me. I can’t wait to see your beautiful faces again soon.
