Good morning! I was able to get to the painted tree yesterday and get my inventory out of the store. It’s been a long 24hr of wondering what is next coming from something I thought I would have for a long time and something that was very successful for me and my family.

With all that said I have a ton of totes in my living room that I will be posting product to sell! & more that shipped yesterday 😩 but we will deal with that as it comes..

I’m in complete shock.. 😩

This afternoon I got an email saying all painted tree will be closed immediately and vendors will have 10 days to clear out their inventory and displays.

I was not expecting that at all as the company was growing and seeing so much traffic in store. This has been one of the best years of business even going from having my own store front.

With all this I have a booth of inventory that I will be bringing home and posting for sale. Keep an eye out for product post!

Thank you for everyone that followed me to the painted tree from DC and all the new customers I gained! To all the other vendors my heart and prayers are with you as we get through this together! It’s been so fun to get to know so many other small business owners!

Thank you so much for coming out and supporting my small business the past couple of days!! It was so great to be back in the shop where it all started! Huge thank you to Kati Walnut St. Flowers for having me join in the fun! Loved seeing so many familiar faces! Update: All children are taken care of!! This community is the best!! Not even 24 hours of me posting about 10 children in need of christmas gifts and you all showed up in the biggest ways!! Thank you for everyone that is helping out!! I know these children will appreciate it more than you know! The items on their list are truly just necessities socks,underwear, bedding so many of these children come to a new home with absolutely nothing and giving them their own personal items is the best gift! I remember picking up our daughter to begin fostering her and she was 9 days old in a carseat from DHS and had only a diaper on came with no clothes no extra diapers nothing and that was such a shock to us. I think of the list we received this year of children and the youngest is 12 and I  can’t imagine coming into a new home with nothing and wanting just the basics. You all are truly the best!! I cant say thank you enough!

🎄🎁 It’s that time again that I am gathering gifts for foster children here in Iowa! This year we are able to give to 10 kids! It will look a little different then years past because we don’t have the shop for drop off but this year if you are able to give back to any of the children I will have a box on my front porch that we can drop gifts or to me directly! I will comment below the list of each child’s needs & wants! You can comment on the list if you want to get one or more items and I will message you with drop off location!!

Thank you so much for your continued support year after year!! This program means so much to our family as it is where our family started. Many of you know but we adopted two of our four children through faster care.

🎄This year looks a little different than setting up my whole shop but I’m excited to partner with some amazing vendors for small business Saturday! We will be set up in the back half of the library in Dallas Center!
