Ann's Sew N Vac is owned and operated by Ann Oliver and is located just outside the city limits of Clinton, North Carolina, on NC Hwy 403. Mrs. Ann has been in the sewing and vacuum industry since 1977. She began her own business in 1992. Though her store began as a small 2,000 square foot sewing and vacuum business, she has extended her products and services to include many other features su

ch as televisions, stereos, washers, dryers, refrigerators, ranges, outdoor equipment and much more. We look forward to helping you in anyway.

We did a new thing this summer. We had a Mini Camp and made an adorable pellet stuffed frog and a mini bow. We had 8 campers and it was non stop for 3 days. The girls learned all about sewing curves with the frog and how easy the bow actually goes together. Both projects were quilted. We all had a great time. A special thank you to my special helpers Dee Dee Henry, Sue Abold and Joan Warlow. I appreciate you all!! Enjoy the photo dump with the finished products at the end!!

We held the Kids Embroidery Camp this week. They made cute dollhouse books. We even had a young man come to class and made a boy book. The kids pictures were taken with their favorite room. Then we took a picture of each room. The book included 2 dolls with 5 outfits and 2 pets. The kids did an amazing job getting all this done in a week. Everyone had a great time. A big shout out to Dee Dee Henry for her tremendous help!!!

The last day of Kids Quilt Camp has the girls doing those last few steps needed to finish a quilt. Doing the hemming and adding the label. The girls worked hard all week and it shows!! Their quilts turned out beautiful! Enjoy the final reveal with their labels!!

Days 3 and 4 of kids quilt camp. Lots of things going on. Piecing our quilt, pressing, basting, quilting and hemming. All the things. Three girls finished today but we won’t reveal their quilts until tomorrow!! The ones who finished early jumped in and helped the others!! The big reveal will be tomorrow!!!

The second Kids Quilt Camp of the summer began yesterday. We have seven of the sweetest girls who are doing a great job!! We have have one with a broken arm and she’s a trooper!! It all starts with the piecing (well, the cutting, but that was done ahead of time) and the pressing!! One of the girls started basting and quilting today but she’s an experienced quilter already!!!
